Following a three-year investigation, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) filed suit against the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (“Port Authority”), asserting that the Port Authority paid its female nonsupervisory attorneys at a lesser rate than their male counterparts for “equal work,” in violation *249of the Equal Pay Act of 1963 (“EPA”), 29 U.S.C. § 206(d).1 To support its claim that the attorneys performed “equal work,” the EEOC pled broad facts concerning the attorneys’ jobs (such as that the attorneys all have “the same…
