This action was commenced in the district court of Garfield county by plaintiff in error. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the court below. The plaintiff alleged that on July 8, 1922, the defendants, J. G. Robins and Rete Lambros, executed and delivered to the plaintiff their 12 promissory notes, each in the sum of $100, and to secure the same executed and delivered their chattel mortgage to the plaintiff, mortgaging certain restaurant equipment, which equipment was purchased by the defendants and the notes issued in partial consideration thereof.
