The defendant was charged with having operated his automobile on a public highway in Manchester while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, in violation of § 14-227 of the General Statutes. Upon a trial to the court he was found guilty. He has appealed from this judgment and has assigned error in two rulings upon the admission of evidence and in the conclusion of the court that the defendant was guilty of the crime charged beyond a reasonable doubt.
