This suit was instituted in the District Court April 22, 1899, by the Citizens’ State Bank .of Dubuque, Iowa, for the purpose of foreclosing three certain real estate mortgages executed by George Tschirgi and his wife, Marie T. Tschirgi, to secure the payment of certain promissory notes given by said George Tschirgi, or by him and his wife. Matthew Tschirgi, the father of George, the First National Bank of Sheridan and E.
