FANNING, Justice.

This suit was brought by John C. Brown and Robert G. Brown, as plaintiffs, against Alton Coats and Olin Gas Transmission Corporation and W. Thomas Bolton, as defendants. Plaintiffs based their suit on an oil and gas lease made by plaintiffs, as lessors, now owned by the defendants, seeking damages caused by the failure and refusal of defendants to comply with an alleged obligation under such lease to explore and develop the minerals underlying the lands covered by the lease and further seeking a decree that the defendants either begin immediate development of the land covered…
