State Representative Camille “Bud” George (Petitioner) petitions for review of a Public Utility Commission (PUC) order providing final approval of a joint petition for full settlement to resolve issues raised by the restructuring plans of Metropolitan Edison Company (Met-Ed) and Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec) and the resulting litigation. Met-Ed and Penelec filed their restructuring plans with the PUC pursuant to the Electricity Generation Customer Choice and Competition Act (Competition Act), 66 Pa.C.S. §§ 2801-2812, to provide for the transition from monopoly-based…
