THOMAS, Justice.

Appellant, hereinafter referred to as husband, and respondent, hereinafter referred to as wife, were married on October 20, 1951. There were no children born of the marriage.

On the 6th day of August, 1953, the wife filed suit for divorce on the ground of extreme cruelty and sought a division of the community property. The husband answered, denying the allegations of the complaint and filed a cross-complaint for divorce on the ground of extreme cruelty.
