This is a civil action seeking recovery for both personal injuries and property damage brought in Superior Court by Simone Marie Plouffe and Leo Plouffe, husband and wife, against The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear), an Ohio 'corporation engaged in the manufacture of tires and rubber products, Chrysler Motors Corporation (Chrysler), a Delaware corporation engaged in the manufacture of motor vehicles and the Hartford Auto Company Inc.
