O’CONNELL, C. J.
The plaintiff, Bart Rivezzi, appeals from the judgment rendered on a general verdict in favor of the named defendant, Anthony Marcucio,1 following a jury trial, in this negligence action. The plaintiffs sole claim on appeal is that the trial court improperly admitted into evidence a hearsay statement from a hospital record. The defendant asserts that the general verdict rule applies, precluding appellate review of the plaintiffs claims. We agree with the defendant and affirm the judgment of the trial court.
