This appeal presents questions similar to those which we considered in Allstate Insurance Co. v. Morgan, 59 Haw. 44, 575 P.2d 477 (1978). We must determine whether the insureds under an automobile liability insurance policy covering two automobiles are entitled to recover uninsured motorist insurance benefits of $20,000 (the stated amount of coverage on only one of the automobiles insured under the policy) or $40,000 (the combined amount of coverage on both of the automobiles insured under the policy) when the insureds were injured while traveling in a third,…
