This was an ction by Bell-Wayland Company, as plaintiff,- against the .Bank of Sugden and' S. O. Laughlin, as defendants, to recover upon 11 cheeks made payable to the order of the plaintiff, indorsed in its name by the defendant Laughlin and cashed by the defendant bank.
