This action was instituted by the plaintiff, George E. Dreidlein, against the defendant, Richard Manger, to recover damages for alleged breach of contract. The original complaint is not contained in the record, nor is the date of its filing shown. It appears that upon March 22, 1920, an amended complaint was filed, wherein it is alleged that on the twenty-third day of March, 1918, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement whereby the plaintiff was to operate a certain ranch belonging to the defendant situated in Meagher county, and that with the conduct of such ranch he was to…
