The issue before the court is whether the automatic renewal clause in a contract to supply and service coin-metered laundry equipment to the owner of a building is governed by section 5-903 of the General Obligations Law. If the statute applies, the clause is inoperative in the absence of prior notice by plaintiff to the building owner, calling its attention to the clause. Plaintiff, Dime Laundry Service, Inc.
