Appellant, Patrick William Smith, pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana, and was sentenced as a habitual offender to a total sentence of fifty-four months’ imprisonment in the Arkansas Department of Correction. He, however, preserved his right to appeal from the trial court’s denial of his motion to suppress evidence, and he argues on appeal, as he did below, that items seized from his residence should have been suppressed because the search-warrant…
