At the time of the accident there was a strike involving the drivers delivering for various daily papers published in the city of Chicago. Because of the'strike in question, plaintiff, a police officer, while in the performance of his duty as such, was riding upon a wagon which at the time of the accident carried papers of the defendant and the Chicago Daily News. This wagon had printed on its sides the name of the defendant.
