MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

GETZENDANNER, District Judge.

This case is before the court on the defendants’ motion to dismiss based on principles of res judicata. For the reasons stated herein, the motion is granted.

Plaintiff commenced this case on January 12,1979. The claim was for personal injury arising out of an occurrence on February 7, 1977. This case was timely filed under the Illinois two year statute of limitations for personal injury actions.
