OPALA, Vice Chief Justice.

The dispositive issue on certiorari is whether the trial tribunal’s finding that no work-related injury had occurred is supported by probative evidence. We answer in the affirmative.

The claimant sought compensation for loss of hearing from exposure to high levels of industrial noise during eight years of work as a machinist for the employer. The term of employment began in late 1978 and ended in June of 1986; the claim was filed in January of 1988.
