OPINION

JANE BLAND, Justice.

A jury found appellant, Vincent L. Edwards, guilty of the second-degree felony offense of possession of phencyclidine in the amount of more than four grams and less than two-hundred grams, and the state jail felony offense of the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The jury assessed punishment at three years’ confinement for the possession conviction and the trial court assessed punishment at eighteen months’ confinement for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. 2 The trial court orally pronounced Edwards’s punishment for the unauthorized use of the…
