Faxe v. City of Grandview

This action brings into question an ordinance of the city of Grandview increasing rates for water service rendered outside the city limits.

Two nonresident customers, in separate suits which were later consolidated for trial and appeal, sought to have the ordinance declared void. They also sought an injunction prohibiting the city from charging nonresident customers a rate in excess of that fixed for residents.
