Plaintiff County of Humboldt (hereafter referred to as County) appeals from an adverse judgment entered on a jury verdict in an action for damages for the destruction of a bridge.
The complaint is in two counts. The first count sets forth a cause of action against the driver and owners of a certain Peterbilt logging truck, alleging in substance that one Brown, the driver thereof, so negligently operated said truck on May 11, 1957, “at or about 11:00 a.m.” as to cause it to collide with and demolish plaintiff’s bridge to plaintiff’s damage in the sum of $100,000.
