Presently before the Court are the cross-petitions for review from the Order of the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board (Board) filed by Thomas Kurpiewski (Claimant) and Caretti, Inc. (Employer). 1 Claimant petitions for review of the Board's Order that, in relevant part, modified a Workers' Compensation Judge's (WCJ) decision awarding Claimant ongoing workers' compensation (WC) benefits to reflect an award of benefits for a closed period between June 21, 2012, and August 14, 2012, and directed the recalculation of Claimant's average weekly wage (AWW).
