This is an action by the plaintiff, Bose Corporation (Bose), against defendant, Linear Design Labs, Inc., (LDL), and its sole employee, George C. Cuartero (Cuartero), for alleged patent infringement and unfair competition relating to a pair of high fidelity loudspeakers known as the Bose 901. 1 Bose is a Massachusetts corporation with its principal place of business in Natick, Massachusetts.
