¶ 1. Aman Singh appeals pro se the circuit court's denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. He argues that retroactive application of a law first enacted after he committed crimes relevant to this appeal violates the ex post facto clauses of the United States and Wisconsin constitutions by denying *524him the opportunities for early release from prison which existed when he committed the offenses.
