Regenia Cubit (“Cubit”) appeals the denial of unemployment benefits on the grounds that she was discharged for misconduct connected with her work. See *279Section 288.050.2, RSMo 2000.1 Cubit’s employer, Accent Marketing Services, LLC (“Accent”), argued before the Division of Employment Security (“the Division”) that Cubit’s violation of Accent’s attendance policy was misconduct that disqualified her from receiving unemployment benefits.
