The defendant corporation (hereinafter called Janaf) is, for the purpose of this proceeding, a real estate development company engaged in the construction and sale of numerous houses in a section known as Admiralty Acres, Princess Anne County, Virginia, on property owned by Janaf. Plaintiff (hereinafter referred to as Daniel) is a contractor employed by Janaf for the purpose of performing certain work and furnishing materials in the construction of the houses in said housing project of defendant.
