This cause involves a petition for the recall of Troy W. McPeake, one of the City Commissioners of Union City, Tennessee, containing 585 names filed with Mildred Roberts, City Clerk of Union City, Tennessee, January 30, 1956, and an amended petition for the same purpose containing 615 names, filed with her on February 18, 1956, both of which petitions she refused to certify to the Election Commissioners of Obion County, Tennessee, for the holding of a recall election, as is provided for in the Charter of Union City.
