This action was brought to recover damages for the wrongful death of Michael Goggin, four years of age, and for injuries to Patrick Goggin, Jr., nine years of age, both sons of the plaintiff Patrick Goggin, Sr. The death of Michael and the injuries to Patrick Goggin, Jr., were the result of an accident which occurred on east 60th street in Seattle, between 35th avenue N. E. and 40th avenue N. E., at approximately five p. m., on January 20,1954, when a sled on which they were coasting struck the rear of an automobile parked in front of the residence of the owner, William Lupo.
