Appeal from Greene Circuit Court. — Hon. James T. Neville, Judge. (1) Under the allegations of the' petition, the plaintiff had a subsisting contract of employment, as a member of the faculty of Drury College. The dismissal of plaintiff without just cause, as it was, is a breach of such contract and would entitle plaintiff to recovery against Drury College. (2) Under the allegations of the petition, the defendant Briggs was guilty of slander and of libel.
