Jason Lawrence Coleman was charged by indictment with the felony offense of capital murder. Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 19.03(a)(2) (Vernon 1994). He pled not guilty to the indictment, and a jury found him guilty of the lesser-included offense of aggravated robbery. Id. § 29.03.
