SULLIVAN, Chief Judge:

On March 16, 1988, appellant was tried by a military judge sitting alone as a general court-martial at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Consistent with his pleas, he was convicted of larceny of over $12,000 worth of military benefits; three specifications of making a false official statement; two specifications of false swearing; adultery; wrongful cohabitation; obstruction of justice; conspiracy to obstruct justice; and conspiracy to make a false official statement, in violation of Articles 121, 107, 134, and 81, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§…
