Cudahy Brothers Company, plaintiff herein, is a Wisconsin corporation. Its business is wholesaling meats and kindred products. It brought this suit to recover a balance of the purchase price for meats alleged to have been sold by it to the defendant, West Michigan Dock & Market Corporation. The defendant owns and operates a cold storage plant, a freight warehouse and dock at Muskegon, Michigan. It is known as the Mart.
