MacDraw, Inc. and its counsel appeal from four orders of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Shirley Wohl Kram, Judge), imposing sanctions of $25,186.67 pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 11 and 28 U.S.C. § 1927 (1988). The court held that plaintiff had no cognizable basis to move for partial summary judgment with respect to three counts of its complaint, that plaintiffs claim to more than $270,000 in damages was not well-grounded in fact or law, and that plaintiffs claim to recovery for work performed during a certain time period was…
