The first contention of plaintiff in error is that the court erred in the admission of evidence. Decedent’s wife testified in substance that' when the decedent returned from his work on the morning of December 18, 1928, he stated to her that he had slipped on the floor and injured his left knee while carrying a bundle of spring plates from the rack to the bench. Other witnesses testified to the making of substantially the same statement at later dates.
