A military judge sitting as a general court-martial convicted Private First Class Maurice S. Wilson of various offenses related to drug possession and distribution, as well as failure to obey a lawful order, in violation of Articles 92 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 892, 912a (2006). The military judge sentenced Wilson *349to reduction to E-l, confinement for forty months, and a bad-conduct discharge.
