By the Court, Rose, J.:

On July 11, 1995, respondent Jones-West Ford, Inc. (Jones-West) received notice that appellant Ford Motor Co. (Ford) planned to terminate Jones-West’s Ford franchise. Pursuant to its contract with Ford, Jones-West had fifteen days to appeal the notice of franchise termination to the Ford Dealer Policy Board (policy board). Under Nevada law, NRS 482.36352, a franchisee has thirty days from receipt of a notice of termination to file a protest with the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety (DMV).
