The defendants appeal from the judgment rendered on a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiffs in an action for legal malpractice. The defendants claim that the trial court erred (1) in submitting certain of the claims of negligence to the jury, and (2) in denying the defendants’ motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict. In their cross appeal, the plaintiffs claim that the trial court erred (1) in instructing the jury that they could reduce the amount of the damage award to the plaintiffs if they found the plaintiffs to be comparatively negligent, and (2) in allowing the jury to reduce…
