The reasons for the receivership sought by the defendant are not fully set forth in the record. Protection of the property of others kept by him in the box at the bank appears to be one. No claim is made, however, of any admission on his part thereby that the stocks in the box were validly attached or subject to the trustee-process, and no point is taken that the plaintiff gained any rights by the defendant’s course of action.
