Defendant, Mountain View Savings and Loan Association (Savings and Loan), appeals a judgment after a court trial foreclosing a mechanic’s lien of plaintiff, A. J. Raisch Paving Company (Raisch) on tentative subdivision Tract 2634 owned by Savings and Loan in the City of Newark (City), in the amount of $16,068.15, with interest at 7 percent, together with costs of suit. Savings, and Loan contends that the claim of lien was not timely filed and even if so, the costs of the sewer on Robertson Avenue, that also benefited completed subdivision Tract 2633, must be apportioned.…
