On December 16, 1991, plaintiffs Anthony and Deeva Darby filed suit alleging violations of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1982 and several violations of Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (“Fair Housing Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 3601, et seq,, by defendants Heather Ridge and Dart Properties, Inc.
