Plaintiffs, husband and wife, filed suit against defendants in December 1991, alleging violations of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1982 and of the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 3601 et seq., in connection with the rental of an apartment from defendants.
