Julia Favre, widow and executrix of John Favre, deceased, made an application under the Workmen’s Compensation act for compensation for her husband’s death, alleged to have resulted from an accident arising out of and in the course of his employment by the plaintiff in error, the Peoria Cordage Company. The application was heard by an arbitrator, who- made a finding for the applicant, and on appeal to the Industrial Board the finding was affirmed. The cause was heard in the circuit court of Peoria county on a writ of certiorari to the Industrial Board and the writ was quashed. The court…
