—The appellants, Eugenio M. Valencia and Catalino Tigero, were riding in an automobile owned and driven by one de Los Reyes when it collided with respondents’ garbage truck at the intersection of Delmas Avenue with Santa Clara Street, in San Jose; and on account of the injuries received as a result of the collision appellants and de Los Reyes brought separate actions for damages, which were subsequently consolidated for trial and decided by a jury in favor of respondents.
