Dixie Chris Omni, LLC and RJP Investment Company, LLC (“movants”) seek to vindicate certain victim’s rights recognized by the Justice for All Act / Crime Victims Rights Act (CVRA), 18 U.S.C. § 3771, they claim were abrogated during the investigation and prosecution of defendant Dan Rubin, who in March 2007 pled guilty in this criminal proceeding to one count of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud.
