OPALA, Justice.
This cause is before us for consideration of joint motion “to withdraw application for certiorari”. The relief sought includes dismissal of the appeal and withdrawal of the appellate court’s opinion from publication. The motion informs us that (1) the parties have reached a settlement which “disposes of the issues on appeal” and has been approved by the trial judge; (2) the Court of Appeals reversed the nisi prius sanctions order by a published opinion which became final when rehearing was denied on January 12, 1993 (883 P.2d 181); and (3) the petition for certio-rari, timely…
