Fred Glass, attorney in fact for Susan Pierce (the daughter), and his attorneys, Steven G. Francis and Howard and Francis, LLP (collectively, the attorneys), appeal the order invalidating a notice of lis pendens under the spurious lien statute, sections 88-35-201 to -204, C.R.S.2007, and awarding attorney fees, costs, and statutory damages in favor of Jason Pierce, as personal representative of the Estate of Mary Clomer Pierce (the estate). We reverse and remand the case for further proceedings. °
