Defendant was charged with Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants. ORS 487.540. Prior to trial the state requested an omnibus hearing on the admissibility of a letter of certification for the intoxilyzer machine used at the time of defendant’s arrest. The defendant objected to a hearing on this issue but requested a pretrial hearing on the admissibility of statements made by her to the police. The trial court ordered a hearing on both matters.
