Plaintiff lived on a forty-two-acre farm. Before daybreak on September 11, 1942, his dwelling, barn, granary, machine house, chicken house, and oats bin caught fire and were destroyed. It is conceded the fires were of incendiary origin.

On August 23, 1942, two barns in the neighborhood of plaintiff’s farm were destroyed by fire thought to have been of incendiary origin. After those fires plaintiff, a member of defendant association for forty years, looked at his insurance policy and found that it incorrectly described some of his buildings.
