TORRUELLA, Circuit Judge.

On June 27, 2000, this Court affirmed the conviction and sentence of appellant Rafael Collazo-Aponte (“Collazo-Aponte”) for a drug-related gun offense and for his participation in a drug conspiracy. Colla-zo-Aponte appealed our decision to the Supreme Court of the United States. The Supreme Court granted appellant’s petition for a writ of certiorari, vacated this Court’s judgment, and remanded the case to this Court for further consideration in light of Apprendi v. New Jersey, 530 U.S. 466, 120 S.Ct. 2348, 147 L.Ed.2d 435 (2000). Upon reconsideration, we affirm…
