MELLOY, Circuit Judge.
State Street Bank & Trust Company (“State Street”) agreed to manage and invest some of the assets of the Public School Retirement System of Missouri (“PSRS”) and of the Public Education Employee Retirement System of Missouri (“PEERS”). (We collectively refer to PSRS and PEERS as the “Retirement Systems” or “Systems.”) The Retirement Systems allege that State Street violated a number of its statutory and common-law duties while managing the Systems’ assets.
