Sections ^i5 and 216 of the National Industrial Recovery Act impose interrelated taxes on domestic corporations, namely an annual capital stock tax- and an annual tax on profits in excess of 12% per cent of the capital stock, calculated on the basis of the value of the capital stock as'fixed by the corporation’s return for the first year in which the tax is imposed.
